Gear Reviews


Here a collection of past reviews which I have done. A first look is just that, I have a brief but close look at the item, and give you information on the weight, function and feel. A review means I have used the item for an extended period of time (upwards of two weeks) outdoors to get a good look at it, and tell you how it performs on the trail. While all reviews will be subjective and reflect my opinion and usage with them, I try to be as objective as possible and give you the information which are of the most interest to you before you buy something.

I changed my approach to reviews, and reviews are now called "Living Reviews" as I will update them over the complete life-cycle of the piece of gear in question. From short-term first looks to long-term-hiked-a-1000km-in-it reviews, all will now be in one post. Bottomline: I review gear to help you decide what to buy for your outdoor adventures, before you buy it.
